Description
This strip is made for the detection in human urine of CarFentanyl, which is an opioid much stronger than morphine. This substance is derived from Fentanyl, however, carfentanyl is 100 times more potent.
Carfentanyl was originally developed to allow veterinary sedation of large mammals, such as elephants or rhinos, but has recently been diverted from this use for "recreational" purposes. Carfentanyl is extremely toxic when used by humans.
Its growing availability on the black market, especially on the dark net, naturally leads to consider carfentanyl as a NPS (new psychoactive substance).
This test is a qualitative assay (type "NO / YES"), and thus delivers a "NEGATIVE" or "POSITIVE" result.
Technical data
Cut-off : 500 ng/ml
This test will be positive if the sample tested contains at least 500 nanograms of CarFentanyl per milliliter of urine, or negative if the sample contains less or not at all.
Detection time of carfentanyl in urine :
- 2 to 3 days after consumption
