MOR urine test (heroin, morphine, opiates)

Description

This strip is made for the detection in human urine of heroin and more generally, of all opiates (opium derivatives such as codeine).

This test is a qualitative assay (type "NO / YES"), and thus delivers a "NEGATIVE" or "POSITIVE" result.

Caution : this test will be negative when taking synthetic opiates, such as alternative drugs to heroin (methadone or buprenorphine). Thus, this test is usable to verify that a patient has not re-used heroin during his treatment. You can also check the effective consumption of these medicines with our BUP and EDDP tests.

Technical data

Cut-off : 300 ng/ml
This test will be positive for opiates if the sample tested contains at least 300 nanograms of heroin / morphine / codeine per milliliter of urine, or negative if the sample contains less or not at all.

Detection time of heroin in urine :

• 2 days for occasional consumption.
• 5 to 7 days for higher intakes.
